A new way to buy timber

You can now buy timber from the comfort of your sofa! We’ve just launched woodworkerscentral.nz, a place where you can browse the speciality hardwoods that we offer, along with woodworking consumables like glue and finishes.

With nationwide delivery, those outside the main cities can now access quality hardwoods with ease, and even if you’re in Wellington and can come into our store, being able to see what we stock will make it easier to plan and price up your project.

To celebrate, we’re hosting an event for keen woodworkers, featuring John Shaw (founder of The Centre for Fine Woodworking) demonstrating his game-changing new router table, and you’re invited!

Woodworkers Central works a bit differently to most online shops in that we don’t take payment when you order. Instead we treat orders more like enquiries. This allows us to communicate with you to make sure we understand what you’re looking for and give you the best possible result from the timber we have available. We’d love to know what you think.
