New owners for City Timber

After 31 years meeting the needs of builders, homeowners, woodworkers, boatbuilders and more, City Timber's original owner has retired. Chris Trudgen made City Timber a Wellington institution, and the business is the only place in town for specialised timber supply. We wish Chris and Vicki a happy retirement!

Fortunately, this isn't the end of City Timber! A group of young(ish) fellas with a background in software have decided to branch (pun intended) out and continue the legacy! Martin White, Adam Gower-Jones and Duncan Hammond all love working with wood in their spare time, and have bought City Timber from Chris. Martin will be the Managing Director, while Adam and Duncan are not going to work in the business, at least for now.

Craig Reardon, who has worked at City Timber since Chris set it up, will continue to do so, ensuring the same quality of service and expertise remains available till Martin gets the hang of things. Thanks Craig!
