New heights of routing accuracy

Last weekend, over 20 woodworking enthusiasts descended on City Timber for a morning of coffee, timber chat and new product demos.

John Shaw, founder of the Centre for Fine Woodworking, showed off his collet router. This fine piece of machinery has been designed by a woodworker, for woodworkers. It allows 1/10mm adjustments to be made with ease, both horizontally and vertically, has an easy cutter-change mechanism, and can accommodate all manner of guides and hold-downs.
